Sanding buttons

Today I am finishing buttons to chose for the button swap. I made these buttons sometime ago and went on the learn more techniques. The upcoming swap inspired me to finish them. Yesterday I shaped and did the heavy sanding using 220 and 400 wet/dry sandpaper. This morning I finished the sanding with a sequence of sand papers from 800 to 1000 to 2000. Next I'm going outside to spray the sealer on the buttons. I only need to send four, but which ones?

  1. They are *all* gorgeous but I would choose the largest one and the 2nd & 3rd buttons in the leftmost row, and the middle button that looks brownish with dark curlicues. Rest assured; they will be loved no matter what you send!

  2. Thanks so much for the selection details! Sounds just right.

This group of buttons are made from scraps left from previous projects. They polished up better than I expected.

  3. Agree that they're all lovely - but my particular favourites are the four in the right-hand lower corner! So versatile and pretty.

Am alas not posting at www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com at the moment - having screwed things up right royally and having to put things right, bit by bit. Hope to back at full speed soon, but meanwhile am dropping by to wish you a Happy Easter.

    All the best. Isobel
